I found out about the Colorado Mule Deer Association when a friend of mine came and asked for me to buy tickets to the banquet. At that time, he explained what the goals and intentions for this group are, and what they are working to become as an association. I got intrigued and got involved with a great group of people who donate their time and energy into an organization that helps do habit work for the mule deer. The part of their mission though, that got my attention was getting the kids involved in hunting, kids that had never been hunting before and getting them out in the field with the animals. It sure does make for some great stories when you see these kids back at camp talking about their experience out on these hunts, excited and having fun. I sure have had fun in this growing group and look forward to seeing what the future brings for the Colorado Mule Deer Association.
